Conference over!

From 11^th to 13^th of February, 30 Life Science students from all over Europe came together in Frankfurt. During this first Conference on European Life Science Careers, they interacted with stakeholders from academia, companies and government with the aim to promote a dynamic European job market for life scientists. Speakers  and discussant were

• Dr. Sohail Luka Policy Officer in the Universities & Research unit, Research Directorate General, European Commission
• Dr. Reinhardt G. Bergauer, PP PHARMA PLANING International Health Care Recruitment
• Dr. Michael Nettersheim, life sciences team of High-Tech Gruenderfonds, Germany’s largest seed investor in the biotech industry
• Dr. Vera Siegmund, Project Officer European Research and Project Office (Eurice) GmbH
• Dr. Andreani Odysseos, Chairperson of the Section on Medicines Development of European Federation of Biotechnology

They created together a White Paper with numerous propositions on how to improve employability of Life scientists throught Europe. These will be published within the next weeks on this blog, together with some videos of the conference…
